Loft Stripes and Polka Dots
I have to admit that I cannot wait for warmer weather! This is the coldest and most snow filled winter that I ever remember having here in Chicago. I am starting to feel like I am stuck reliving the same day like in the movie, Ground Hog Day! Each morning I wake up and it is still cold and there is still snow, therefor, each day calls for more layers. On this lovely day, I decided to go with some Loft stripes and polka dots!
Drops of Gold
I love the little drops of gold throughout this outfit. They are sprinkled on the scarf and dispersed within the pearl necklace.
Blanket Scarf, Leather, and Stripes!
I will be the first to admit that I did not understand the hype of the Zara blanket scarf. I love scarves and thought that the blanket scarves were cute, but wasn’t sure how they would look on me. I finally caved and got one and am glad that I did. I especially love how the blanket scarf, leather, and stripes look together!
Leopard, Faux Fur, & Bling
Leopard, faux fur, & bling will always be a favorite of mine! While I would love to say that the above outfit was planned purely for style, that would be a complete lie. I feel like dressing in Chicago this winter is like a game. How many layers can you put on and not look like a marshmallow or look like you don’t care?!
