Fall is Almost Here!
We are finally seeing some fall weather here in Chicago. It was one of those days where if you are in the shade it feels like fall and requires layers. On the other hand, if you are in the sun it still feels like summer is trying to hang on. It makes getting dressed each day a bit of a challenge.
No Fall Yet, Just Fun Accessories!
So, today I was in denial that although it is October, we are still having summer in Chicago. Just when I thought we were about to get fall weather it jumped back into the 80’s this week. I have been ready to bust out my sweaters, scarves, and boots for a while now!
One Dress Two Ways
I don’t know about you girls, but I love when my outfit can work double duty for me. It is nice if you have a busy day to not have stop home and change (if you are anything like me, you are then tempted to not go back out!).
It’s All in the Details
Today was one of those days when I wasn’t sure what I wanted to wear. I was all over the place with it. In the end I decided on a very neutral outfit with beautiful details. I loved the way the thicker knit of shrug looked against the delicate pleats of the shell that I was wearing. To me the necklace gave just the right amount of something along the neckline.
