So, today I was in denial that although it is October, we are still having summer in Chicago. Just when I thought we were about to get fall weather it jumped back into the 80’s this week. I have been ready to bust out my sweaters, scarves, and boots for a while now! Despite the heat, I wanted to wear a sweater so I went with this linen sweater that I got from J. Crew last summer and absolutely love and because of the linen I wasn’t hot! Since I can’t wear all my fun scarves, I thought that a fun necklace would have to takes its place! By trading in my sandals for a fun pair of gold cap-toe ballet flats, it had a nice early fall feel. I just keep hoping that we are going to get an actual fall here, but until then summer clothes, fun jewelry, and metallic ballet flats are going to have to do!!
