If you have read the about me page on the blog, you know that I am a little late to the game when it comes to fashion. I grew up with all brothers and it was more about just playing than girly things like dress-up. It isn’t that I never did girly things and that I didn’t like those things, but there just weren’t as many opportunities when you are mainly with boys. That being said, I think that as an adult, I am making up for lost time. I love anything that is pink and sparkles! I mean LOVE IT!! If it is pink or bedazzled (as my husband calls it) I usually want it. There are many times in life where I have to tell myself to just walk away from the sequins! Today was not one of those days. It was a beautiful day and I dressed for no one other than me and channeled my inner 5 year old. The end result was neon pink, a sequin tee, gold ballet flats, and a very sparkly statement necklace! It was the kind of outfit that made me just want to twirl in the sun and watch all of it shimmer.
