Nice Tartan Skirt!
While walking down the street today, I heard something that I never thought that I would hear come from a construction worker’s mouth, “Hey, nice tartan skirt!”.

The outfit in this post was worn on my last day of running errands before I had to leave. I had the bright idea of planning my outfits out, but not trying them on until the day before I left! Big surprise, one of them didn’t look as amazing on as it did in my head. That left me with a last minute shopping trip and frantic search for a top to match a skirt that I had already picked out (in addition to all the other things that I still had to do).
Today I spent the day getting ready to leave for New York to attend the Lucky FABB conference. I cannot wait to go and meet fellow bloggers and to take in and learn as much as possible. As a new blogger, this is an amazing opportunity and could not be happier that I am able to participate in such an amazing event.
Alright, so technically it is a cat on a hat, but you get the idea. I loved this hat the second that I saw it and had to have it. I am not really sure why, since I am more of a dog person than cat person, but it was just so darn cute!
This J. Crew herringbone poncho is one of my favorite items in my wardrobe. It is from two years ago and I had to hunt it down to find one. I had passed on it when it had come out in August because it was still crazy hot and I couldn’t get into the mindset of fall shopping. This is the article of clothing that taught me to plan ahead!!
