There are so many luxe little details in this outfit and I love it!! I know that some say that you should look in the mirror before you leave and remove one piece, but the exact opposite happened with this outfit. I started out with planning on just wearing the sweater, faux fur vest, and one necklace. I looked in the mirror and thought that it was still missing something so I decided to add another necklace. I did another peek in the mirror and still felt that it needed a little something. I remembered that I had this silk J. Crew polka dot blouse from last year and thought that it would be perfect. I am a more layers the better kind of girl! After adding the blouse I took one more quick look and decided that it was just what I was looking for. I love that even though I am wearing jeans and flats, the outfit has plenty of luxe details to dress it up. Honestly, a good faux fur vest and pile of baubles can dress up even the most simple of outfits! This particular pairing of necklaces is a personal favorite of mine and will be on repeat quite a bit this fall and winter!
I love that you have been featuring lots of vests! Sometimes I get too warm in a full on coat. Do you think fur vests add too much bulk to a heavier figure? Thanks for sharing your style!
I think that anyone can wear a fur vest. The key is to get one that is a good match for your body. I think even slim girls need to make sure that the vest doesn’t add too much bulk. The only way to know for sure is to try them on. There are so many varieties around now that you are able to make sure it is a good fit for your body. Maybe, get one with one a fur front or fur trim around the color or them hem. Faux fur is such a fun way to add a little luxe to your outfit that no one should be deterred!
