With winter seeming to have no end in sight here in Chicago, I find myself trying to find ways to add little touches of brightness into my outfits. This tartan skirt and poppy necklace were the perfect combination. While many layers have still been required on a daily basis, I love the way this poppy necklace can add just the perfect pop of color to most outfits. I was thrilled when I realized this skirt from J. Crew Factory had the poppy color throughout and decided that the poppy necklace would be a perfect pairing. Until we get some warmth here, I am going to have to continue to attempt to trick myself into believing that we aren’t just continuing to get loads of snow and that it isn’t below freezing on most days. In honesty though, it isn’t working that well! Happy Monday everyone!!
