A cute dress and a cute pair of flats are my go to outfit when the weather is nice. I love that it is a simple and comfortable way to look polished. Honestly, I feel that a good pair of heels elongates the body and can make me look better, but it isn’t that functional for me.
I am not sure which part of this outfit is my favorite! I love each piece on their own and was really happy with how they looked when put together.
We are finally seeing some fall weather here in Chicago. It was one of those days where if you are in the shade it feels like fall and requires layers. On the other hand, if you are in the sun it still feels like summer is trying to hang on. It makes getting dressed each day a bit of a challenge.
So, today I was in denial that although it is October, we are still having summer in Chicago. Just when I thought we were about to get fall weather it jumped back into the 80’s this week. I have been ready to bust out my sweaters, scarves, and boots for a while now!
Today was one of those days when I wasn’t sure what I wanted to wear. I was all over the place with it. In the end I decided on a very neutral outfit with beautiful details. I loved the way the thicker knit of shrug looked against the delicate pleats of the shell that I was wearing. To me the necklace gave just the right amount of something along the neckline.
