Today I spent the day getting ready to leave for NYC to attend the Lucky FABB conference.  I cannot wait to go and meet fellow bloggers and to take in and learn as much as possible.  As a new blogger, this is an amazing opportunity and could not be happier that I am able to participate in such an amazing event.

Since I have never attended this before, I am a little nervous and intimidated.  I don’t really know what to expect and since I have only been blogging for a short time, I don’t have anyone to really connect with.  I know that it will be fine and that I will have an amazing time, but I just want to be totally honest about the mix of emotions That I am feeling (sorry, I felt I needed to put it out there).  Seriously, I cannot think of many things more intimidating than a room full of beautiful and fashion forward woman who have been blogging much longer than I have.  That being said, I can’t think of a better situation to put myself in to learn as much as possible.

I will take as many pictures as I can, but I am also going to take as many notes as possible in  each of the breakout sessions that I attend.  I plan on doing a few different posts on the trip when I return.  I will do a post to highlight the Lucky FABB conference and all that I learned and I will also do a couple of outfit posts.  I am so excited (and equally nervous) to embark on this little adventure and I look forward to sharing all of it with you!

  1. Have a great time in NYC! The kids and I like checking out your blog everyday. Do you think those boots would work with skirts too? I’m looking for a new pair of boots.

    1. Thanks! Yes, those boots do look good with skirts too. I happened to be wearing them one day when I was trying on skirts so I put them on to see if they would work with skirts and sweater dresses. They look cute with both.
