The outfit in this post was worn on my last day of running errands before I had to leave for the Lucky FABB conference. I had the bright idea of planning my outfits out, but not trying them on until the day before I left! Big surprise, one of them didn’t look as amazing on as it did in my head. That left me with a last minute shopping trip and frantic search for a top to match a skirt that I had already picked out (in addition to all the other things that I still had to do). I got lucky and was able to find a perfect sweater at Express that went with everything else that I already had for the outfit. While I was lucky and it all worked out, I will not be putting myself in that position again if I can possibly avoid it. I will say that the above outfit was perfect for a last minute shopping trip and running around like a crazy person trying to tie up loose ends before heading out of town. I felt comfy and polished looking. There is nothing better than looking polished while at the same time feeling like you are in your pajamas!
I had originally planned on posting more photos with this post, but am feeling under the weather since my return home from NYC and the Lucky FABB conference. It was an amazing trip and look forward to sharing it with all of you. In the meantime, I am actually in my pajamas and trying to recover!
These pictures turned out great! I love this outfit…nice comfy without looking like you just rolled out of bed. Do you think heavier ladies can wear slouchy sweaters like this?
Thanks, and yes I do. Just make sure you check the length of the sweater. As long as them hem of the sweater sits below the widest point on the body it should be fine. I also think with the cowl neck line it elongates. Go with a lighter know if you are concerned about adding bulk.
