I feel like I need to just put this out there. I am a creature of habit, routine, and certainly on the conservative side. I would love to proudly announce that I am a wild and free risk taker, but sadly I am not (my husband likes to refer to me as the “fun police”). That aspect of my personality can trickle down into the way I decide what I am going to wear.
Hello, I am Erin and welcome to Forever Chic! Today is the official start of my fashion blog and I couldn’t be more excited…and really nervous if I am being totally honest (seriously, as I am writing this I actually feel queasy)! It is the day where I put myself out there and start this journey of sharing my love for fashion with others.
A cute dress and a cute pair of flats are my go to outfit when the weather is nice. I love that it is a simple and comfortable way to look polished. Honestly, I feel that a good pair of heels elongates the body and can make me look better, but it isn’t that functional for me.
So, today I was in denial that although it is October, we are still having summer in Chicago. Just when I thought we were about to get fall weather it jumped back into the 80’s this week. I have been ready to bust out my sweaters, scarves, and boots for a while now!
I don’t know about you guys, but I cannot say no to a good leopard print (or any leopard print for that matter)! I love that you can use it as your statement piece in an outfit or as a pop of something in a simple outfit. I also love that leopard looks great mixed with other patterns. May favorite combinations with leopard are stripes and florals.
